Hammond 1418N4S16X24QT 72x31x24 in 316 SS Quarter-Turn Freestanding Enclosure

The 1418N4S16X24QT is a 72.06 x 31.06 x 24.06 in (1,830 x 789 x 611 mm) Type 4X freestanding enclosure formed from 12 gauge 316 stainless steel. Part of the 1418 N4 FS QT SS Series, it is designed to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls with provision for panel or rack mounting of equipment in locations that are hosed down, very wet or where corrosion is a serious problem.

The enclosure has smooth, continuously welded seams without knockouts, cutouts or holes and a natural brushed stainless finish. Its single door is carried on a heavy gauge continuous hinge, secured with quarter turn latches and sealed by a seamless poured-in-place gasket. Heavy duty stainless steel lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles are provided.

Welded internal mounting channels accept optional inner panels or rack equipment rails, and a grounding stud in the enclosure and bonding stud on the door are provided. The unit is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12, complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, and is REACH and RoHS compliant. It ships on a skid at 300 lbs (136.08 kg).
