Hammond 1418N4SSY24QT 72x37x24 in 304 SS Quarter-Turn Freestanding Enclosure

The 1418N4SSY24QT is the widest 304 stainless model in the 1418 N4 FS QT SS Series, measuring 72.06 x 37.06 x 24.06 in (1,830 x 941 x 611 mm). This Type 4X freestanding enclosure is designed to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls with provision for panel mounting or rack mounting of equipment where it may be hosed down, very wet or exposed to serious corrosion.

It is formed from 12 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. The door hangs on a heavy gauge continuous hinge and is secured with quarter turn latches, closing on a seamless poured-in-place gasket. Heavy duty stainless steel lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles are provided, and the finish is natural brushed stainless.

The drawing lists a 61.31 x 33.31 in door opening, 25.06 in usable depth and 57.53 x 30.38 in of clear space available on the door; the drawing depth is shown as 24.03 in. Welded internal mounting channels support optional inner panels or rack equipment rails. The optional full size inner panel is 72YFW in white powder paint, and alternative options are also available. A grounding stud in the enclosure and a bonding stud on the door are provided.
