Hammond 1418N4SSW18QT 72x25x18 in 304 SS Quarter-Turn Freestanding Enclosure

The 1418N4SSW18QT is a 72.06 x 25.06 x 18.06 in (1,830 x 637 x 459 mm) Type 4X freestanding enclosure in 12 gauge 304 stainless steel. It is the compact-footprint 304 model of the 1418 N4 FS QT SS Series, intended to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls with provision for panel mounting or rack mounting of equipment in hose-down, very wet or seriously corrosive settings.

Smooth, continuously welded seams are left without knockouts, cutouts or holes. The door is supported on a heavy gauge continuous hinge, secured with quarter turn latches and sealed by a seamless poured-in-place gasket, and cover and enclosure share a natural brushed stainless finish. Heavy duty stainless steel lifting eyebolts with reinforcing support angles aid handling.

From the drawing: 61.31 x 21.31 in door opening, 19.10 in usable depth and 57.53 x 18.38 in of clear space available on the door. Welded internal mounting channels are ready for optional inner panels or rack equipment rails; the optional full size inner panel is 72WFW, finished in white powder paint, with alternative panel options also available. A grounding stud in the enclosure and a bonding stud on the door are provided.

The enclosure is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12, and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. It is REACH and RoHS compliant and ships on a skid at 290 lbs (131.54 kg). The 316 stainless equivalent is 1418N4S16W18QT.
