Hammond 1418N4SSK8 30x24x8 In 304 Stainless Type 4X Wallmount Enclosure

The 1418N4SSK8 is a 30 in H x 24 in W x 8 in D (762 x 610 x 203 mm) Type 4X wallmount enclosure in formed 14 gauge 304 stainless steel. From the 1418 N4 SS Series, it provides a larger mounting area for instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures that will be hosed down, kept very wet, or exposed to corrosion.

A removable 12 gauge inner panel measuring 27.00 in x 21.00 in (686 x 533 mm) is included, white powder coated and mounted on collar studs. The drawing lists a 21.21 in x 27.21 in door opening, 8.17 in usable depth and a 32.25 in overall height.

The body is formed with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes, with a formed lip on door and enclosure to exclude flowing liquids and contaminants. The door seals on a seamless poured-in-place gasket and is held by stainless steel clamps, with provision for padlocking. It is carried on a stainless steel continuous hinge that can be removed by pulling the pin. A bonding stud on the door, grounding stud in the enclosure and door literature pocket complete the package.

Welded brackets with 0.44 in holes on 18.00 in x 31.25 in spacing (per drawing) handle wall mounting. The finish is natural stainless steel with a smooth brush. The series is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. The 1418N4SSK8 ships at 80 lbs (36.29 kg).
