Hammond 1418N4SSKK8 30x30x8 In Square 304 Stainless Type 4X Enclosure

The 1418N4SSKK8 is a square 30 in H x 30 in W x 8 in D (762 x 762 x 203 mm) Type 4X wallmount enclosure in formed 14 gauge 304 stainless steel. It offers a wide, square mounting field for instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures in the 1418 N4 SS Series, for sites where equipment is hosed down, very wet, or exposed to corrosion.

A removable 12 gauge inner panel measuring 27.00 in x 27.00 in (686 x 686 mm) is included, white powder coated and mounted on collar studs. The drawing gives a 27.21 in x 27.21 in door opening, 8.17 in usable depth and a 32.25 in overall height.

The enclosure uses smooth, continuously welded seams without knockouts, cutouts or holes, plus a formed lip on door and body to exclude flowing liquids and contaminants. A seamless poured-in-place gasket seals the door, which is secured with stainless steel clamps and has provision for padlocking. The stainless steel continuous hinge can be removed by pulling the hinge pin. A bonding stud on the door, grounding stud in the enclosure and door literature pocket are provided.

Welded brackets with 0.44 in holes on 24.00 in x 31.25 in spacing (per drawing) handle wall mounting. Cover and body are natural stainless steel with a smooth brushed finish. The series is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. The 1418N4SSKK8 ships at 100 lbs (45.36 kg).
