Hammond 1418N4SSK12 30x24x12 In 304 Stainless Type 4X Enclosure

With 12 in of depth behind a 30 in x 24 in face, the 1418N4SSK12 (762 x 610 x 305 mm) is a Type 4X wallmount enclosure in formed 14 gauge 304 stainless steel from the 1418 N4 SS Series. It is intended for instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures in areas that are hosed down, very wet, or where corrosion is a serious problem.

According to the drawing, usable depth is 12.17 in and the door opening is 21.20 in x 27.20 in. A removable 12 gauge inner panel measuring 27.00 in x 21.00 in (686 x 533 mm) is included, white powder coated and mounted on collar studs.

Smooth, continuously welded seams leave no knockouts, cutouts or holes, and a formed lip on door and body excludes flowing liquids and contaminants. The door seals on a seamless poured-in-place gasket, closes with stainless steel clamps and offers provision for padlocking. It hangs on a stainless steel continuous hinge removable by pulling the pin. Inside, a bonding stud on the door, grounding stud in the enclosure and door literature pocket are provided.

Welded brackets with 0.44 in holes on 18.00 in x 31.25 in spacing (per drawing) handle wall mounting. The series is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. Shipping weight of the 1418N4SSK12 is 85 lbs (38.56 kg).
