Hammond 1418N4SSE6 24x20x6 In 304 Stainless Type 4X Wallmount Enclosure

The 1418N4SSE6 is a 24 in H x 20 in W x 6 in D (610 x 508 x 152 mm) Type 4X wallmount enclosure made from formed 14 gauge 304 stainless steel. It provides a taller mounting area in a shallow profile for instrument enclosures, junction boxes, terminal wiring and electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings in areas that are hosed down, very wet or corrosive.

A removable 12 gauge inner panel measuring 21.00 in x 17.00 in (533 x 432 mm) is included, finished in white powder coating and mounted on collar studs. The drawing lists a 17.21 in x 21.21 in door opening, 6.17 in usable depth and a 26.25 in overall height.

Like every 1418 N4 SS Series enclosure, it uses smooth, continuously welded seams with no knockouts, cutouts or holes, and a formed lip on the door and enclosure that excludes flowing liquids and contaminants. The door seals on a seamless poured-in-place gasket and is closed with stainless steel clamps, with provision for padlocking. A stainless steel continuous hinge carries the door and can be removed by pulling the pin. The door has a bonding stud and literature pocket; the enclosure has a grounding stud.

Welded brackets with 0.44 in holes on 14.00 in x 25.25 in spacing (per drawing) handle wall mounting. The series is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 and complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. The 1418N4SSE6 ships at 61 lbs (27.67 kg).
