Hammond 1418N4ALE6 24x20x6 In Type 4X Aluminum Wallmount Enclosure

The 1418N4ALE6 is a 24 x 20 x 6 in (610 x 508 x 152 mm) aluminum wallmount enclosure with a continuous hinge door secured by aluminum clamps. Built to the series' Type 4, 4X, 12 and 13 ratings, it offers a larger 24 x 20 mounting face at a slim 6 in depth for control and wiring layouts in wet or corrosive locations.

The body is 0.081 in and the door 0.100 in Type 5052 H-32 aluminum, with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. A formed lip on door and enclosure excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in-place gasket seals the door. The door is secured with aluminum clamps, has provision for padlocking, and comes off by pulling the aluminum hinge pin. The removable 12 gauge steel inner panel is white powder coated and mounts on collar studs; the door carries a literature pocket and bonding stud, with a grounding stud in the enclosure.
