Hammond 1418N4ALJ8 24x24x8 In Type 4X Aluminum Wallmount Enclosure

The 1418N4ALJ8 is a square 24 x 24 x 8 in (610 x 610 x 203 mm) Type 4X aluminum wallmount enclosure with a continuous hinge door and aluminum clamps. The square face and 8 in depth suit wider control layouts in hose-down, very wet or corrosive environments.

The body is 0.081 in and the door 0.100 in Type 5052 H-32 aluminum, with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. A formed lip on door and enclosure excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in-place gasket seals the door. The door is secured with aluminum clamps, has provision for padlocking, and comes off by pulling the aluminum hinge pin. The removable 12 gauge steel inner panel is white powder coated and mounts on collar studs; the door carries a literature pocket and bonding stud, with a grounding stud in the enclosure.

The 1418N4ALJ8 is 24 in x 24 in x 8 in (610 mm x 610 mm x 203 mm) (H x W x D). It includes a square 21.00 x 21.00 in (533 x 533 mm) removable steel inner panel. For layout, the manufacturer drawing shows an overall height of 26.25 in including the mounting brackets and an overall depth of 9.22 in, a 21.57 x 21.22 in door opening and 8.09 in of usable depth. Mounting holes are 0.44 in diameter, and the shipping weight is 39 lbs (17.69 kg).
