The 1414N4PHS16O10 is a 16 x 14 x 10 in (406 x 356 x 254 mm) Type 4X junction box in 316 stainless steel and the deepest enclosure in the 1414 N4 PH SS Series. With 9.35 in of usable depth behind the largest 16 x 14 in face, it houses bulkier instruments and electric, hydraulic or pneumatic controls in hose-down, wet or corrosive locations.
The enclosure is formed from 16 gauge 316 stainless steel with smooth, continuously welded seams, and the cover and body are left natural stainless with a smooth brushed finish. The continuous stainless steel hinged cover is held closed by stainless steel clamps and screws and seals on a seamless poured-in place gasket. Welded brackets provide for enclosure mounting. A removable 14 gauge inner panel, finished in white powder coating, mounts on tapped studs, and a bonding stud on the door plus a grounding stud in the enclosure simplify earthing.
The inner panel is 14.75 x 12.88 in (375 x 327 mm). The drawing shows a 15.30 x 13.30 in door opening, 15.15 x 13.15 in clear space on the door and a 17.50 in overall height including brackets. Shipping weight is listed as 23 lbs (10.43 kg), in a box.
The enclosure is UL 508A and CSA listed for Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001) and complies with IEC 60529, IP66. For the 304 stainless steel version of this size, specify 1414N4PHSSO10.
