Hammond 1414N4ALO10 16x14x10 In Type 4X Aluminum Junction Box, Deep

The 1414N4ALO10 is the deepest model in the 1414 N4 AL series: a 16 x 14 x 10 in (406 x 356 x 254 mm) Type 4X aluminum junction box with an aluminum-clamped lift-off cover and removable inner panel. It is sized for control housings with deep components, in locations that are hosed down, very wet or corrosive.

Construction follows the 1414 N4 AL series: the body is formed from 0.08 in Type 5052 H-32 aluminum with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. The lift-off cover is secured with easily operated aluminum clamps and seals on a seamless poured-in-place gasket. Welded brackets provide for enclosure mounting, a bonding stud is fitted on the door and a grounding stud inside the enclosure. Cover and enclosure are natural unfinished aluminum. The removable 14 gauge inner panel is finished in white powder coating and mounts on tapped studs.

The 1414N4ALO10 is 16 in x 14 in x 10 in (406 mm x 356 mm x 254 mm) (H x W x D). The inner panel is 14.75 x 12.88 in (375 x 327 mm), and the drawing shows 9.46 in of usable depth, compared with 5.46 in on the 6 in deep 1414N4ALO6. For layout, the manufacturer drawing shows an overall height of 17.50 in including the mounting brackets and an overall depth of 10.21 in, a 15.30 x 13.30 in cover opening and 9.46 in of usable depth. Mounting holes are 0.31 in diameter, and the shipping weight is 15 lbs (6.80 kg).

The series is listed to UL 508A Type 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and CSA Type 4, 4X, 12 and 13, and complies with NEMA Type 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529, IP66. This part carries UL File # E65324 and CSA Cert. # LR21001, is REACH and RoHS compliant, and is covered by the manufacturer's EU Declaration of Conformity to the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
