Hammond 1414N4ALI 10x8x4 In Type 4X Aluminum Junction Box with Panel

The 1414N4ALI is a 10 x 8 x 4 in (254 x 203 x 102 mm) Type 4X aluminum junction box with a lift-off cover fastened by aluminum clamps and a removable inner panel. It is a mid-size choice for integrators and electricians building a terminal wiring enclosure or electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housing that will see hose-down or corrosive conditions.

Construction follows the 1414 N4 AL series: the body is formed from 0.08 in Type 5052 H-32 aluminum with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. The lift-off cover is secured with easily operated aluminum clamps and seals on a seamless poured-in-place gasket. Welded brackets provide for enclosure mounting, a bonding stud is fitted on the door and a grounding stud inside the enclosure. Cover and enclosure are natural unfinished aluminum. The removable 14 gauge inner panel is finished in white powder coating and mounts on tapped studs.
