Hammond 1414N4ALK 12x10x5 In Type 4X Aluminum Junction Box with Panel

The 1414N4ALK is a 12 x 10 x 5 in (305 x 254 x 127 mm) Type 4X aluminum junction box with a clamped lift-off cover. At 5 in deep it offers more room than the 4 in models for relays, terminal blocks or small instruments on its removable inner panel, in wet, hosed-down or corrosive plant areas.

Construction follows the 1414 N4 AL series: the body is formed from 0.08 in Type 5052 H-32 aluminum with smooth, continuously welded seams and no knockouts, cutouts or holes. The lift-off cover is secured with easily operated aluminum clamps and seals on a seamless poured-in-place gasket. Welded brackets provide for enclosure mounting, a bonding stud is fitted on the door and a grounding stud inside the enclosure. Cover and enclosure are natural unfinished aluminum. The removable 14 gauge inner panel is finished in white powder coating and mounts on tapped studs.

The 1414N4ALK is 12 in x 10 in x 5 in (305 mm x 254 mm x 127 mm) (H x W x D). The removable inner panel for the 1414N4ALK measures 10.75 x 8.88 in (273 x 226 mm). For layout, the manufacturer drawing shows an overall height of 13.50 in including the mounting brackets and an overall depth of 5.21 in, a 11.30 x 9.30 in cover opening and 4.46 in of usable depth. Mounting holes are 0.31 in diameter, and the shipping weight is 8 lbs (3.63 kg).

The series is listed to UL 508A Type 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and CSA Type 4, 4X, 12 and 13, and complies with NEMA Type 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529, IP66. This part carries UL File # E65324 and CSA Cert. # LR21001, is REACH and RoHS compliant, and is covered by the manufacturer's EU Declaration of Conformity to the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
