Hammond 106H 4000 to 2600 CT Ohm Interstage Audio Transformer

The 106H is a miniature interstage audio transformer from the 106 Series, built for circuit designers who need to couple one amplifier stage to the next on a compact PC board. It pairs a 4000 ohm primary with a 2600 ohm centre-tapped secondary, and the centre tap gives a convenient reference point for balanced or push-pull following stages.

Electrically, the 106H is rated for 150 mW output with 1 dB insertion loss and a -1 dB low frequency roll-off at 215 Hz. The primary accepts up to 10 mA of DC. DC resistance is 340 ohms on the primary and 100 ohms on the secondary, both +/- 15%, figures that matter when you are budgeting voltage drop in a plate or collector circuit.

Construction is rugged black epoxy potting that produces a completely sealed unit able to withstand severe environmental conditions, including those of MIL-T-27 (Grade 5, Class S). Centre-tapped windings use a bifilar technique for balanced resistive and capacitive characteristics, and the series carries a peak working voltage rating of 200V.

It mounts directly to a printed circuit board on square pins (0.025" square typical); where a connection is not used, no pin exists. It is REACH and RoHS compliant.
