Key Features

  • 2500 ohm CT primary, 50 ohm CT secondary
  • Useful impedance range 1250/25 to 5000/100 ohms
  • DC resistance 150.7 ohms primary, 4.9 ohms secondary
  • +/- 0.5 dB, 300 Hz to 100 kHz at 100 mW
  • Primary and secondary interchangeable
  • Sealed, potted, 0.1 oz, pin-type PCB mount

The 101V is the highest-ratio part in the 101 Series miniature potted audio range, matching a 2500 ohm center-tapped primary to a 50 ohm center-tapped secondary. It mounts directly on a P.C. board with pin-type terminals and suits designers connecting a high-impedance audio source to a very low-impedance load.

Rugged potted construction gives a completely sealed unit that withstands severe environmental conditions, with a net weight of only 0.1 oz. As with the rest of the series, the secondary may be used as the primary and the primary as the secondary, so the 101V also steps 50 ohms up to 2500 ohms.

Nominal DC resistance is 150.7 ohms on the primary and 4.9 ohms on the secondary. The useful impedance range covers 1250/25 to 5000/100 ohms primary/secondary, a 50:1 impedance ratio throughout.

Rated performance is +/- 0.5 dB from 300 Hz to 100 kHz at 100 mW. At +10 dBm and +15 dBm the range widens to 200 Hz to 100 kHz, and at +20 dBm it is 300 Hz to 100 kHz, all measured with no DC current saturation. The 101V is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships at 0.01 lbs (0.00 kg).

Ideal For

  • Matching high-impedance audio sources to 50 ohm loads
  • Step-up of low-impedance signals on circuit boards
  • Sealed miniature audio designs
