Hammond VCT78 45U Vertical Cable Tray for Server Cabinets

The VCT78 is a 45U vertical cable tray from the VCT Series, intended for routing and supporting vertical cable bundles inside server cabinets. It gives IT and network installers an open, structured pathway along the side of a cabinet so cable runs stay organised and accessible without the bulk of an enclosed manager.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel with folded (flanged) edges that add structural strength and make cable handling easier. The tray is finished in a black powder coat that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, and it is manufactured in North America (country of origin: Canada) to TAA-compliant requirements for government and institutional procurement.

Overall dimensions are 78.75 in (2000 mm) high, 3.00 in (76 mm) wide and 0.50 in (13 mm) deep, with a mounting height of 78.75 in (2000 mm) covering 45 rack units. The panel carries cutouts sized 2.00 in x 2.00 in (51 mm x 51 mm) square, 0.38 in x 0.38 in (10 mm x 10 mm), and 0.28 in x 2.00 in (7 mm x 51 mm) obround openings that accept cable ties or hook and loop straps for routing and strain relief.

Mounting hardware is included for fast installation, and the VCT78 is listed as compatible with Hammond C2, C4, REFK and HDME20 platforms as well as compatible third-party enclosures. Shipping weight is 6 lbs (2.72 kg). Note that this part does not include the toolless PDU mounting cutouts found on VCTPDU models.
