Hammond ST242412SS 24x24x12 in Deep Sloped Top Stainless Enclosure

The ST242412SS is the 12 in deep version of the 24 x 24 in Eclipse ST sloped top enclosure. It is sized for integrators and control builders who need more depth for components while housing electrical or electronic equipment on a wall in harsh, industrial environments, with a sloped top that keeps water from resting on the enclosure.

Construction is formed 14 gauge 304 stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a smooth brushed natural stainless finish. A formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in place gasket seals the door. Quarter turn latches require a tool for opening, hinges are 304 stainless, and hinge pins are stainless steel. Doors are removable for modifications and interchangeable.

The ordering table lists H1 24.00 in and H2 28.35 in (720 mm) with a 24.00 in width and 12.00 in depth. The drawing shows a 22.49 in wide by 22.47 in high door opening and a 23.97 in wide door. The optional EP2424 inner panel measures 22.20 x 22.20 in and mounts on the collar studs provided.

Wall mounting holes are 0.50 in diameter on 22.50 x 22.50 in centres, and a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers is included. A mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements. A bonding stud on the door and grounding stud in the enclosure are included.

The ST242412SS is rated UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12, complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, and ships boxed at 59 lbs (26.76 kg).
