Hammond RZ0212 115x90x55 mm IP65 Polycarbonate Enclosure

The RZ0212 widens the 115 mm RZ Series body to 90 mm, giving an overall size of 4.53 in x 3.54 in x 2.17 in (115 mm x 90 mm x 55 mm). The extra width accepts squarer boards than the 65 mm-wide models, making it a good match for small controllers, communication modules and power electronics that must be sealed.

Constructed from light gray RAL7035 polycarbonate with a smooth surface, it carries a UL94 V-2 rating and a -40 °C to +130 °C temperature range, and polycarbonate is suggested for outdoor use. The tongue & groove two-piece gasketed lid keeps out oil, dust and water, and the enclosure is designed to meet IP65. Lid screws are self-captivating and assembly hardware is corrosion resistant.

The drawing shows 49.00 mm [1.93 in] inside height and 83.36 mm [3.28 in] inside width. P.C. boards up to 107.43 mm x 82.43 mm fit on internal mounting points that accept M3 self-tapping screws, and DIN rail mounted components are also accommodated. Through box-blind hole construction puts the wall-mounting holes outside the gasket perimeter.

The RZ0212 ships in a bag at 0.42 lbs (0.19 kg) with the box, lid, string gasket, 4 PCB screws and 4 lid screws. Recommended torque is (43-50) ozf.in / (30-35) cN.m, and the replacement gasket is RZ0311GASKET. REACH and RoHS compliant; UPC 623980404851. A clear-lid version is RZ0212C.
