Hammond RZ0205C 115x65x55 mm Clear Lid Polycarbonate Enclosure

The RZ0205C is the 115 mm x 65 mm x 55 mm (4.53 in x 2.56 in x 2.17 in) RZ Series water-tight enclosure with a clear polycarbonate lid. The deeper body leaves room for taller parts, while the transparent lid lets users check indicators or a display without breaking the seal, which is useful for field controllers and monitoring nodes.

The body is molded in light gray RAL7035 polycarbonate with a smooth finish, UL94 V-2 rated and specified from -40 °C to +130 °C, and polycarbonate is suggested for outdoor use. The lid seals with a two-piece tongue & groove gasket against oil, dust and water; the enclosure is designed to meet IP65. Lid screws are self-captivating, and the enclosure is assembled with corrosion resistant hardware.

The drawing shows an inside height of 49.50 mm [1.95 in] and an inside width of 57.72 mm [2.27 in]. Boards up to 106.87 mm x 56.87 mm fit on internal mounting points that accept M3 self-tapping screws, which are also designed for DIN rail mounted components. Wall-mounting holes are outside the gasket perimeter.

RZ0205C is packed in a bag at 0.33 lbs (0.15 kg) and includes the box, clear lid, string gasket, 4 PCB screws and 4 lid screws. Torque to (43-50) ozf.in / (30-35) cN.m. Replacement gasket: RZ0308GASKET. REACH and RoHS compliant; UPC 623980745626. Solid-lid equivalent: RZ0205.
