The RZ0205 takes the 115 mm x 65 mm RZ Series footprint to a 55 mm depth, measuring 4.53 in x 2.56 in x 2.17 in overall. The extra height over the 40 mm RZ0203 leaves room for connectors, terminal blocks or taller components on a narrow board, while keeping the assembly sealed for demanding locations.
The enclosure is light gray RAL7035 polycarbonate with a smooth surface, UL94 V-2 rated and specified for -40 °C to +130 °C; polycarbonate is suggested for outdoor use. A two-piece tongue & groove gasketed lid protects against oil, dust and water, and the enclosure is designed to meet IP65. Self-captivating lid screws and corrosion resistant hardware complete the assembly.
The drawing lists 49.50 mm [1.95 in] of inside height and 57.72 mm [2.27 in] inside width. The maximum P.C. board size is 106.87 mm x 56.87 mm, and internal mounting points accept M3 self-tapping screws and are designed for boards or DIN rail components. For wall installation, through box-blind hole construction keeps the mounting holes outside the gasket perimeter.
Supplied bagged at 0.33 lbs (0.15 kg), the RZ0205 includes the box, lid, string gasket, 4 PCB screws and 4 lid screws. Recommended torque is (43-50) ozf.in / (30-35) cN.m. Replacement gasket RZ0308GASKET. REACH and RoHS compliant; UPC 623980404844. Clear-lid version: RZ0205C.
