Hammond RZ0203 115x65x40 mm IP65 Polycarbonate Enclosure

The RZ0203 is a slim, rectangular RZ Series water-tight enclosure at 4.53 in x 2.56 in x 1.57 in (115 mm x 65 mm x 40 mm). Its low 40 mm profile suits long, narrow circuit boards such as interface cards, small power supplies or sensor electronics that need to be sealed, including outdoor applications suggested for polycarbonate.

It is light gray polycarbonate (RAL7035) with a smooth surface, rated UL94 V-2 and specified for -40 °C to +130 °C. The gasketed lid uses two-piece tongue & groove construction to keep out oil, dust and water, and the enclosure is designed to meet IP65. Lid screws are self-captivating and the enclosure is assembled with corrosion resistant hardware.

Per the drawing, inside height is 35.00 mm [1.38 in] and inside width is 58.22 mm [2.29 in]. The maximum P.C. board is 106.87 mm x 56.87 mm, secured to internal mounting points that accept M3 self-tapping screws; the mounting points are also designed for DIN rail mounted components. Wall-mounting holes sit outside the gasket perimeter through box-blind hole construction.

RZ0203 comes bagged at 0.29 lbs (0.13 kg) with the box, lid, string gasket, 4 PCB screws and 4 lid screws. Recommended torque is (43-50) ozf.in / (30-35) cN.m. The replacement gasket is RZ0304GASKET. It is REACH and RoHS compliant, UPC 623980404837. RZ0203C adds a clear lid.
