Hammond RSVS1931BK1 31 in Deep 2U Vented Sliding Shelf, 85 lb Load

The RSVS1931BK1 is a 2U vented sliding rack shelf with a 31.00 in (787 mm) deep shelf, built for IT, AV and industrial users who need to pull non-rackmount equipment forward for routine access. It is part of the RSUS/RSVS Series of sliding adjustable depth steel rack shelves and is the vented version of the solid RSUS1931BK1, using 0.24 x 1.50 in venting slots to improve airflow around heat-generating devices.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel with a black textured powder coat finish that is GREENGUARD Gold Certified, TSCA and RoHS compliant. Each shelf ships as an assembly comprising one vented sliding shelf, two 28 in full-travel ball-bearing slides and four slide mounting brackets. The slides include an integrated stop mechanism so the shelf cannot be pulled completely out during servicing, and are tested to BIFMA standards for a minimum of 55,000 cycles.

Overall dimensions are 2.68 in (68 mm) high by 18.89 in (480 mm) wide, with a shelf platform 1.50 in (38 mm) high by 16.64 in (423 mm) wide and 31.00 in (787 mm) deep. Rated load capacity for this depth is 85 lbs (39 kg), with 28.00 in (711 mm) of slide travel so equipment can be fully extended for maintenance.

RSVS1931BK1 installs in 4-post racks and cabinets and requires two pairs of mounting rails, with an adjustable rail mounting depth of 18.00 in (457 mm) minimum to 28.00 in (711 mm) maximum. The shelf occupies 2U of rack space but requires 3U of mounting space, and is not designed for product mounting directly above or below it. The part is manufactured in North America in an ISO 9001 certified facility and is TAA compliant, USMCA compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant.
