Hammond RSUS1931BK1 2U Sliding Solid Shelf, 31 in Deep, 85 lb Rated

The RSUS1931BK1 is a 2U solid sliding rack shelf with an adjustable mounting depth, built for IT teams, AV and broadcast integrators, industrial controls builders and lab technicians who need to place non-rackmount equipment in a 4-post rack or cabinet and still reach it easily. The shelf pulls forward on ball-bearing slides so servers, UPS units, test instruments and media devices can be serviced without being unbolted.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel finished in a black textured powder coat that is GREENGUARD Gold Certified, TSCA and RoHS compliant. The shelf assembly consists of the solid sliding shelf, two 28 in full-travel slides and four slide mounting brackets. The slides include an integrated stop mechanism so the shelf will not accidentally pull completely out during servicing, and they are tested to BIFMA standards for a minimum of 55,000 cycles.

This model measures 2.68 in (68 mm) high by 18.89 in (480 mm) wide overall, with a shelf platform 1.50 in (38 mm) high, 16.64 in (423 mm) wide and 31.00 in (787 mm) deep. Slide travel is 28.00 in (711 mm) and the rated weight capacity for RSUS1931BK1 is 85 lbs (39 kg). Rail mounting depth adjusts from 18.00 in (457 mm) to 28.00 in (711 mm) per the series table.

Installation requires a 4-post rack or cabinet and two pairs of mounting rails. The shelf itself occupies 2U but requires 3U of mounting space, and the series note states it is not designed for product mounting directly above or below. RSUS1931BK1 is manufactured in North America in an ISO 9001 certified facility and is TAA-compliant, USMCA compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant.
