Hammond RRLDCASTER Light Duty Swivel Stem Casters, 800 lb Set of 4

The RRLDCASTER is a set of four light duty stem casters from the RRCASTER series, designed to make open frame relay racks and equipment cabinets mobile. It suits IT and AV integrators, electricians, OEM engineers and facilities teams who need to reposition a rack for staging, servicing or reconfiguration rather than leave it permanently bolted in place.

Each caster features a ball bearing swivel and a hard composition wheel with a 3.00 in (76 mm) diameter. All four casters in the set are lockable, using a side brake, so the rack can be parked securely once moved. The mounting stud is 1.5 in (38.1 mm) long with a 1/2"-13 thread, and mounting hardware is included with the set.

The RRLDCASTER set has a combined weight capacity of 800 lbs (363 kg) and adds 3.75 in (95 mm) to the overall height of the cabinet or rack it is fitted to. Per the drawing, it is intended for DNRR heavy duty and RRAL aluminum relay racks with a maximum weight load of 800 lb, and is not recommended for heavy loading. Series compatibility also covers DC4R 4-post open frame racks, DNRRHDKB, DNRRHDW, RB-2PA and RB-2P 2-post open frame racks, HDME NEMA 12 equipment cabinets, HME NEMA 12 modular enclosures and CLC colocation/multi-bay server rack cabinets.

Casters are manufactured in North America, are RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant, and TAA compliant for GSA Schedule purchases. Shipping weight for the set is 4.5 lbs (2.04 kg).

Care should be taken in moving a rack as it may be unstable depending on the equipment loading pattern; ensure the weight distribution is safe for mobile use.
