The RP161GASKET is a two-pack of replacement lid gaskets (listed as RP161/RP163 GASKET- 2PK) for the largest RP Series water-tight enclosures, the 10.00 in (254 mm) x 8.03 in (204 mm) models. It suits maintenance crews, panel builders and OEMs who need a fresh lid seal for an RP enclosure in service.
The series ordering table lists it as the replacement gasket for six enclosures. At 3.54 in (90 mm) deep: off-white polycarbonate RP1610 (opaque lid) and RP1610C (clear lid), and light gray ABS RP1615C (clear lid). At 5.12 in (130 mm) deep: off-white polycarbonate RP1630 and RP1630C, and light gray ABS RP1635C. A light gray ABS opaque-lid version is not available in these sizes.
RP Series enclosures use a gasketed lid with two-piece tongue and groove construction to protect against oil, dust and water, and are designed to meet IP 65. The rubber gasket must be field installed, and the lid is secured with self-captivating M3.5 stainless steel machine screws threaded into corrosion resistant bushings.
The RP161GASKET is REACH and RoHS compliant. The same enclosures accept the optional STC580 plastic and STA580 aluminum inner panels.
