Hammond RP1035C 95x50x40mm IP65 Abs Enclosure, Clear Lid

The RP1035C is a water-tight plastic enclosure from the RP Series that pairs a light gray general purpose ABS body with a clear polycarbonate lid. It is a slim, elongated box whose 50 mm width suits narrow circuit boards up to 41.5 mm wide, and the see-through lid lets you view the interior without opening the box, making it a practical choice for OEM engineers, integrators and electronics builders housing printed circuit boards or components.

The drawing lists this clear-lid ABS version with a UL94 HB flame rating; the part page lists the material as ABS Plastic in Light Gray. The lid seals with two piece tongue & groove construction and a field-installed rubber string gasket, and the enclosure is designed to meet IP65 for protection against oil, dust and water.

Nominal size is 3.74 in x 1.97 in x 1.57 in (95 x 50 x 40 mm). Inside, the drawing gives 34.50 mm [1.36 in] of height and 43.05 mm [1.69 in] of width, 87.75 mm [3.45 in] inside length, and the 40 mm depth keeps the profile low. PC board mounting posts accept M3 self-tapping screws and take a board up to 87 mm long and 41.5 mm wide.

The lid is secured with M3.5-0.6 x 10mm self-captivating screws threaded into corrosion resistant bushings for repeated assembly and disassembly; recommended torque is 43-50 ozf.in (30-35 cN.m). Each RP1035C ships in a bag with the box, lid, string gasket, 4 PCB screws and 4 lid screws. Optional inner panels are STC104 (ABS, 3mm) and STA104 (metal, 1mm), and RP103GASKET is the replacement EPDM gasket 2-pack. The part is RoHS and REACH compliant.
