Hammond RP1030 Narrow Polycarbonate 95x50x40 mm IP65 Enclosure

The RP1030 is a long, narrow 95 x 50 x 40 mm RP Series water-tight enclosure in polycarbonate with an opaque lid, listed in the series table as the off-white polycarbonate model. Its slim shape suits elongated P.C. boards up to 87 x 41.5 mm, such as sensor, interface or terminal boards.

The RP1030 is molded in polycarbonate with a UL94 V-2 flame rating. The gasketed lid uses two-piece tongue and groove construction to protect against the access of oil, dust and water, and the enclosure is designed to meet IP 65. The rubber gasket is included and must be field installed. The lid includes a smooth recessed area for a membrane, label or silkscreen.

The series table lists this size at 3.74 in (95 mm) long x 1.97 in (50 mm) wide x 1.57 in (40 mm) deep; the drawing gives 95.00 mm [3.74 in] x 50.00 mm [1.97 in] x 40.00 mm [1.57 in] overall and inside dimensions of 87.75 mm [3.45 in] L x 43.05 mm [1.69 in] W x 34.50 mm [1.36 in] H. It accepts a P.C. board up to 87 x 41.5 mm, with internal mounting posts that accept M3 self-tapping screws.

Each assembly includes the box, lid, string gasket, 4 P.C. board screws and 4 lid screws. The lid is secured with self-captivating M3.5 stainless steel machine screws threaded into corrosion resistant bushings for repeated assembly and disassembly; recommended torque is (43-50) ozf.in / (30-35) cN.m. Accessories for this size are the STC104 ABS inner panel (3 mm thick), the STA104 metal inner panel (1 mm thick) and the RP103GASKET replacement gasket 2-pack, plus SC619-50 lid screws and SC622-50 P.C. board screws.

The RP1030 is REACH and RoHS compliant and ships in a bag at 0.16 lbs (0.07 kg). It can be wall or panel mounted with the MF0040, MF0045, MF0060, MF0061 or MF0300 mounting feet kits, and the enclosure can be factory modified (milling, drilling, printing).
