The RMCHANDLE1U is the optional pull handle mounting bracket kit for 1U RMC Series rack mount aluminum instrument enclosures, sold as a pair. It adds front pull handles so a 1U instrument or electronics enclosure can be slid in and out of a 19 in rack, or carried more easily on the bench.
In 1U form it is listed as the optional pull handle kit for all three 1U RMC bodies: the 8.50 in (216 mm) wide RMCS9018BK1/RMCV9018BK1, and the 17.00 in (432 mm) wide RMCS19018BK1/RMCV19018BK1 and RMCS190113BK1/RMCV190113BK1. These enclosures have a usable mounting height of 1.75 in (44 mm) and 0.81 in (21 mm) of inside height clearance with the chassis installed.
The handles are black steel. On the part drawing the handle bracket measures 38.10 mm [1.500 in] in height, the handle projects 59.56 mm [2.345 in], and the material is 3.18 mm [.125 in] thick.
Installation follows the RMC handle installation sheet: first remove the rack mount bracket hardware, then attach the handle using the hardware from the bracket. The kit ships in a bag with a shipping weight of 1 lbs (0.45 kg) and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
