Hammond RH30000N4GY PF3X000 Type 4 Rain Hood, ANSI 61 Gray

The RH30000N4GY is an RHN4 Series filterfan rainhood rated Type 4 / ANSI 61 Gray, sized for PF3X000/PFA30000 units. When used with a PF Series Filterfan it forms a UL / cUL Listed Type 4 (IPx6) combination. It suits panel builders and maintenance teams protecting fan-cooled enclosures in locations with high exposure to spraying water, where a painted galvanized steel cover is acceptable.

The cover is galvanized steel with an ANSI 61 Gray powder coated finish, and the base mounting bracket is unpainted 304 stainless steel. A high compression, closed cell black gasket with multiple seal dams ensures a tight, waterproof seal. A direct spray barrier/baffle is designed to maximize airflow while protecting the opening from overspray.

Overall dimensions are 12.68 in (322 mm) high, 10.87 in (276 mm) wide and 3.56 in (90 mm) deep; the part page lists a nominal size of 13 in x 11 in x 4 in (330 mm x 279 mm x 102 mm). The manufacturer drawing shows a 8.18 in x 8.43 in cutout and four Ø 0.28 in mounting holes. Shipping weight is 8 lbs (3.63 kg), packed in a box.

Installation is simple: the mounting bracket is installed around the existing cutout and the rainhood slides down over the bracket, and the tool-less design allows easy removal for maintenance and filter mat replacement.
