Hammond RFVS1918BK1 18-Inch Deep Vented Fixed Rack Shelf, 350 lb

The RFVS1918BK1 is an 18-inch deep vented heavy-duty fixed rack shelf from the RF Series, built to support high-weight, non-rackmount equipment inside standard server cabinets and equipment racks. It is intended for IT and data center teams, telecom and industrial integrators, and AV installers who need a dependable platform for UPS systems, servers, battery backups, industrial controls and network appliances.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel with a black textured powder coat finish that is GREENGUARD Gold Certified, TSCA and RoHS compliant. Front and rear flanges add rigidity and can be installed facing upward to act as integrated equipment retainers, helping prevent equipment from sliding during servicing or transport. Folded side flanges simplify hardware installation from above and increase overall shelf strength, while the vented deck uses 0.24 x 1.50 in slots to improve airflow around heat-generating equipment.

Overall dimensions are 1.94 in (49 mm) high, 17.75 in (451 mm) wide and 18.00 in (457 mm) deep, with a 0.81 in (21 mm) flange height at the front and rear. Maximum load is 350 lb (159 kg). Slotted side mounting (0.250 x 2.000 in slots) accommodates a range of rack rail depth positions, and all required mounting hardware is included.

To install RFVS1918BK1, the cabinet must have two (2) pairs of combination rails. For a traditional equipment rack, order the FSRA Fixed Shelf & Accessory Rail Adapter; for cabinets using Hammond CPR square-hole rails, order one CPRSA Square Hole Rack Rail Shelf Adapter per shelf. The shelf is manufactured in North America in an ISO 9001 certified facility and is TAA-compliant, USMCA compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant.
