Hammond RDRW1900316LG1 2U Locking Rack Drawer, 16 in Deep, Light Gray

The RDRW1900316LG1 is a 2U locking rack storage drawer from the RDRW Series, giving IT, telecom, industrial and AV teams a secure, lockable place to keep tools, documentation, media and spare hardware inside a standard 19-inch rack or cabinet. Finished in textured RAL7035 light gray powder coat, it is the light gray version of the 2U, 16-inch-deep drawer (the RAL9005 black equivalent is RDRW1900316BK1).

The drawer is built from mild steel — the RDRW Series uses 14 and 16-gauge steel — and rides on heavy-duty sliding rails for smooth operation. A keyed lock and plastic pull handle secure the contents, and a cable pass-through in the rear of the shroud lets you route cords to equipment stored inside. Two rear mounting brackets are included and can be fastened to the rear rack rails for added stability.

Overall dimensions are 3.50 in (89 mm) high by 17.36 in (441 mm) wide by 16.25 in (413 mm) deep, occupying 2U of rack height. Usable interior space is 2.89 in (73 mm) high by 15.33 in (389 mm) deep, with 16.00 in (406 mm) of slide travel for full access to the contents. Load capacity is 129 lbs (58.5 kg); the RDRW Series is rated up to 145 lb (66 kg) in 4-post installations and 60 lb (27 kg) in 2-post racks. The drawing shows a 16.10 in / 21.88 in (409 mm / 556 mm) min/max rail mounting range and a 19.00 in (483 mm) front panel width.

RDRW1900316LG1 fits standard 19-inch EIA-310-E racks and cabinets, so it suits both new builds and retrofits. It ships with two keys, eight 10-32 x 0.625 in screws, four 8-32 Keps nuts, rear support brackets and assembly instructions. The part is RoHS and REACH compliant, USMCA compliant, TAA-compliant and made in Canada.
