Hammond RCK18U25BK 18U Knock-Down Cabinet, 1050 lb Capacity

The RCK18U25BK is an 18U knock-down rack cabinet measuring 36.50 in x 24.00 in x 25.00 in (927 mm x 610 mm x 635 mm) overall. It is built for AV and media installations, network and telecom equipment rooms, lab and development environments, and general equipment installations where a modular, configurable cabinet is preferred over a fully assembled one. The cabinet ships unassembled, which makes transport, handling and installation easier in constrained spaces, and the self-squaring design allows fast assembly with improved structural alignment.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel for the cabinet frame with 12-gauge mounting rails, giving a 1,050 lb load capacity. The finish is a textured black powder coat in RAL9005 Black, described by the manufacturer as GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. The part is manufactured in Canada, is USMCA compliant, REACH compliant and TAA-compliant for government procurement requirements.

RCK18U25BK includes two pairs of adjustable-depth, EIA-310 compliant 10-32 tapped mounting rails (H1 Panel Rail 18U) plus a 50-pack of SCREW1032-50 mounting hardware. Usable mounting space is 31.50 in (800 mm) high x 19.00 in (483 mm) wide with 22.56 in (573 mm) of equipment mounting depth. The rack is rated 18U + 1U, where the extra 1U refers to usable accessory mounting at the top-rear of the cabinet.

Cable tie-off points, 1U knockout panels and multiple conduit knockouts (double knockouts at O3.00/1.90, O2.50/1.90 and O1.38/1.12, plus O0.68 knockouts) support organized cable routing, and ganging capability is included for side-by-side expansion. Shipping weight is 104 lbs (47.17 kg).
