Hammond RCHD1908BK1 5U Solid Locking Steel Door for RCH Cabinets

The RCHD1908BK1 is a 5U solid locking front door designed exclusively for use with the Hammond RCH cabinet series. It suits IT, AV and OEM installations where equipment inside a wall-mount or small enclosure needs to be shielded from dust, tampering and casual access while keeping a finished, professional appearance.

Construction is 16-gauge steel, finished in a rugged textured powder paint coat in RAL9005 black to match RCH enclosures. The door mounts with either a right-hand or left-hand hinge because the door and cabinet are symmetrical, so the same part can be used regardless of which way the opening needs to swing in a given room layout. An installed lock and two keys are supplied, along with the mounting hardware required for installation.

This part is sized for cabinets with a 5U panel height of 8.75 in (222 mm). Per the product drawing, the door measures 18.88 in (479 mm) wide by 8.62 in (219 mm) high, with a 0.50 in (13 mm) profile depth, and includes four 0.22 in (6 mm) and four 0.19 in (5 mm) diameter mounting holes. Shipping weight is 4.25 lbs (1.93 kg).
