Hammond RCBS1901017LG1 6U 17.5 in Deep Desktop Rack Cabinet, Gray

The RCBS1901017LG1 is a 6U enclosed desktop rack cabinet for mounting 19-inch equipment in AV, studio, lab and test environments. It is a fixed-rail cabinet-style rack finished in RAL7035 light gray textured powder coat, sized for bench-top and portable use where equipment needs to be protected but floor space is limited.

Construction is 16-gauge welded mild steel with a fully enclosed design that includes top, bottom and side panels. The cabinet is rated for a 600 lb load. Two black plastic handles are fitted for lifting and moving between workstations, and four plug bumpers (non-marking rubber feet) provide stable desktop placement.

Overall dimensions are 12.50 in x 21.00 in x 17.50 in (318 mm x 533 mm x 445 mm), with 6U of usable mounting height at 10.50 in (267 mm) and a usable mounting depth of 16.88 in (429 mm). The drawing lists a 19 in mounting width of 18.35 in (466 mm), a front opening of 17.81 in (452 mm) and 0.28 in (7 mm) rail holes. Shipping weight is 28 lbs (12.70 kg).

Mounting rails are fixed-depth and EIA-310 compliant with round holes for clip-nut hardware, and are recessed at the front and rear to improve equipment clearance. Each unit ships with a starter pack (CLPKIT1032-10) of 10-32 clip nuts and a matching quantity of 1421ABK black screws, so installation can begin out of the box.

RCBS1901017LG1 is made in Canada, TAA-compliant and USMCA-compliant, and is RoHS and REACH compliant; the powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. The same cabinet is offered in black as RCBS1901017BK1.
