Hammond RCBS1900324BK1 2U Desktop Rack Cabinet, 24.5 in Deep, Black

The RCBS1900324BK1 is a 2U enclosed desktop rack cabinet for mounting 19-inch equipment on a bench, desk or cart. It suits AV and media installations, studio and control room racks, test and measurement benches, and lab or development setups where equipment needs to be protected in a compact, movable housing rather than a floor-standing frame.

Construction is 16-gauge welded mild steel with a 600 lb load rating, finished in RAL9005 black textured powder coat. The finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. The cabinet is fully enclosed with top, bottom and side panels, and ships as a welded assembly with two black plastic handles for carrying between workstations and four plug bumper feet for stable, non-marking desktop placement.

Overall dimensions are 5.50 in (140 mm) high x 21.00 in (533 mm) wide x 24.50 in (622 mm) deep, giving 2U of usable mounting height (3.50 in / 89 mm) and 23.88 in (607 mm) of usable mounting depth; the drawing lists 23.76 in (604 mm) usable depth. The 19-inch mounting width is 18.35 in (466 mm) and the front opening measures 17.81 in (452 mm) wide. Shipping weight is 29.98 lbs (13.60 kg).

Rails are fixed-depth and EIA-310 compliant with 0.28 in (7 mm) round holes for 10-32 clip nuts, and are recessed at front and rear to improve cable and connector clearance. RCBS1900324BK1 ships with a starter pack of 10-32 clip nuts and a matching quantity of 1421ABK black screws (CLPKIT1032-10). Made in Canada, it is TAA compliant and USMCA compliant, with REACH and RoHS compliance and ECCN EAR99 for procurement and export documentation.
