Hammond RCBS1900317BK1 2U Desktop Rack Cabinet, 17.5in Deep, Black

The RCBS1900317BK1 is a 2U enclosed desktop rack cabinet for mounting 19-inch rack equipment in AV, studio, lab and test environments. It measures 5.5 in x 21 in x 17.5 in (140 mm x 533 mm x 445 mm) overall and is finished in RAL9005 Black, making it suited to bench-top, control room and portable rack duty where a small footprint and equipment protection both matter.

Construction is 16-gauge welded mild steel with a 600 lb load rating, and the cabinet is fully enclosed with top, bottom and side panels. Two black plastic handles are integrated for carrying the unit between workstations, and four plug bumpers (non-marking rubber feet) provide stable placement on a desk or bench. The powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant.

Mounting rails are fixed-depth and EIA-310 compliant with round holes for 10-32 clip nuts, and are recessed at the front and rear to improve equipment clearance. Usable mounting height is 3.50 in (89 mm) for 2U of equipment, with a usable mounting depth of 16.88 in (429 mm). The drawing shows a 19-inch mounting width of 18.35 in (466 mm) and a front opening of 17.81 in (452 mm).
