Hammond RCBS1900313BK1 2U 13-Inch Deep Desktop Rack Cabinet, Black

The RCBS1900313BK1 is a 2U enclosed desktop rack cabinet for mounting 19-inch equipment on a bench, desk or console. It suits AV and media installations, studio and control room racks, test and measurement setups and lab or development benches where a small footprint and equipment protection matter more than a full floor-standing cabinet.

Construction is 16-gauge welded mild steel with a fully enclosed body — top, bottom and side panels — rated for a 600 lb load. The finish on this version is a RAL9005 Black textured powder coat; the series finishes are GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant to support indoor air quality and environmental requirements. Two black plastic handles are integrated for carrying the cabinet between workstations, and four plug bumpers (non-marking rubber feet) keep it stable on a desktop.

Overall size is 5.50 in x 21.00 in x 13.00 in (140 mm x 533 mm x 330 mm) with a shipping weight of 17.64 lbs (8.00 kg). Usable mounting height is 3.50 in (89 mm) for 2U of equipment, with 12.38 in (314 mm) of usable mounting depth (12.26 in / 311 mm usable depth per the drawing). The 19-inch mounting centres measure 18.35 in (466 mm).

Mounting rails are fixed-depth and EIA-310 compliant with 0.28 in (7 mm) round holes for clip-nut hardware, and they are recessed at the front and rear to improve equipment clearance. RCBS1900313BK1 ships with a starter pack (CLPKIT1032-10) of 10-32 clip nuts and a matching quantity of 1421ABK black screws.

The cabinet is made in Canada, is TAA compliant and USMCA compliant, and is RoHS and REACH compliant, with ECCN EAR99 — useful where government or trade-compliance documentation is required.
