Hammond RB-VFM45-4-2 45U 4in Double-Sided Vertical Cable Manager

The RB-VFM45-4-2 is a 45U double-sided vertical finger cable manager built for open frame rack systems where cables must be routed along the full height of the rack. Part of the Rack Basics line, it is aimed at IT and network teams, structured cabling installers and data center integrators who need organized, serviceable vertical pathways between rack-mounted equipment.

Construction is a 16-gauge steel frame fitted with UL94V-0 polycarbonate fingers, which form structured pathways for high-capacity cable routing and long-term durability in demanding environments. The finish is black powder coat, described as GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant to support indoor air quality and environmental compliance. Removable aluminum covers conceal cables front and rear for a clean installation, and replacement cover pieces are available separately in the series.

This double-sided version measures 80.40 in (2042 mm) overall height by 4.00 in (102 mm) wide by 16.00 in (406 mm) deep, with 8.00 in (203 mm) of finger depth on each side of the rack. Mounting height is 78.75 in (2000 mm), equal to 45 rack units. Shipping weight is 36 lbs (16.33 kg) and the unit ships flat packed with assembly hardware and mounting hardware included.

Rear cable pass-through openings allow flexible routing between rack sections, and keyhole cutouts support tool-less PDU mounting so power and cable management can share the same vertical channel. Optional accessories such as cable spools, dividers and panels extend the routing options. RB-VFM45-4-2 is designed for compatibility with Hammond and third-party open frame racks, is TAA compliant and is manufactured in North America, with USMCA, RoHS and REACH compliance declared.
