Hammond RASV190515BK1 3U 15 in Deep Vented Shelf, 200 lb Capacity

The RASV190515BK1 is a 3U fixed, vented rack shelf for standard 19-inch racks and cabinets, intended for IT, AV and industrial users who need to support equipment that cannot be directly rack-mounted. Its universal mounting design fits any standard EIA-compliant rack or cabinet, so it can be used in data centres, network closets, broadcast racks, control panels and test benches.

The shelf is formed from 14-gauge mild steel with a stiffener lip folded up at the back, giving a suggested load capacity of 200 lbs (91 kg). Hammond notes this product was tested to double the suggested load rating. The vented pan is perforated with 0.24 x 1.50 in venting slots to help air move around amplifiers, small servers, UPS units and other heat-producing devices. The finish is a black textured powder coat, described as GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant to support indoor air quality and environmental compliance.

Mounting dimensions are 5.25 in (133 mm) high x 19.30 in (490 mm) wide x 15.00 in (381 mm) deep, occupying 3U of rack height. The drawing shows an overall front panel width of 19.01 in (483 mm) with slotted mounting holes, including 0.22 x 3.88 in and 0.22 x 2.50 in slots that allow adjustment during installation. Shipping weight is 13.01 lbs (5.90 kg).

RASV190515BK1 can be installed internally as an equipment shelf or externally as a work surface, and the optional RASCLAMP clamping arm accessory is available for 2U and 3U sizes when equipment retention is required. Mounting hardware is not supplied with the shelf. The part is made in Canada, is USMCA, RoHS and REACH compliant, TAA compliant, and classified EAR99.
