Hammond RASU190524BK1 3U Solid Rack Shelf, 24 in Deep, 200 lb

The RASU190524BK1 is a 3U solid (un-vented) universal rack mount shelf from the Hammond RAS Series, built to support equipment that cannot be directly rack-mounted. At 24.00 in (610 mm) deep, it is the deepest solid shelf in the 19-inch RAS line-up, making it suited to IT, AV and industrial gear that needs a full, continuous support surface inside a rack or cabinet.

The shelf is formed from mild steel in 14-gauge material and finished in a black textured powder coat. The series finish is stated as GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, supporting indoor air quality and environmental compliance requirements. A stiffener lip folded up at the back adds rigidity and helps keep equipment located on the shelf surface.

Mounting dimensions are 5.25 in (133 mm) high by 19.30 in (490 mm) wide by 24.00 in (610 mm) deep, occupying 3U of rack height. The front panel measures 19.01 in (483 mm) wide by 5.22 in (133 mm) high on the drawing, with eight 0.25 x 0.38 in mounting slots for attachment to any standard EIA-compliant rack or cabinet. The suggested load capacity is 200 lbs (91 kg); Hammond states this product was tested to double the suggested load rating. Mounting hardware is not supplied with the shelf.
