Hammond RAAB3648BK 36-48 in Adjustable 1U Rack Angle Brackets

The RAAB3648BK is a pair of adjustable-depth rack mount angle brackets from the Hammond RAAB Series, built to support heavy, non-rackmount equipment inside 19-inch and 23-inch rack systems. It is intended for IT and data center teams, network and telecom installers, and industrial control system builders who need to carry servers, chassis or switchgear that cannot be bolted directly to rack rails.

Construction is 16-gauge mild steel with a 200 lb capacity, finished in a black smooth powder coat that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant. The free-floating, adjustable design lets each angle span the depth of the rack and be set to match the equipment being carried, so load is distributed across the rack instead of concentrating stress on the front rails.

Each angle occupies 1U: 1.72 in (44 mm) high and 3.14 in (80 mm) wide, with an adjustable depth from 35.70 in (907 mm) to 48.00 in (1219 mm) — the drawing shows the inside-span adjustment as 36.0 in to 48.0 in (914 mm - 1219 mm). On a 19-inch mounting pattern the opening between angles is 12.76 in (324 mm) with a maximum width between angles of 17.52 in (445 mm). Shipping weight is 4 lbs (1.81 kg).

RAAB3648BK mounts to any rack with EIA-310-E compliant 1U mounting patterns, making it usable across 19-inch, 23-inch and other rack widths, and it is compatible with cabinets and 4-post racks. The brackets are sold in pairs and require two pairs of mounting rails for installation; mounting hardware is not included. Made in Canada and TAA compliant, with REACH, RoHS and USMCA compliance for procurement documentation.
