The R588-100-100 is a set of variable cover plates and gaskets for the R250 Series mobilCASE extruded aluminum enclosures. Instead of closing a single body, variable style end plates are sold in a set to connect two extrusions side by side, letting designers build a larger, multi-section portable case from standard mobilCASE bodies. This set joins two 100 mm profile extrusions.
According to the series table, the R588-100-100 is used to join aluminum extrusion series R250-100 or R251-100 TO R250-100 or R251-100. Either the one-piece closed body (R250) or the two-piece "clam shell" body (R251) can be used on each side, so both halves of the finished case share the same profile.
