Hammond PWS3302A230N4SS 12283 BTU/h Air/Water Heat Exchanger, 230V Stainless

The PWS3302A230N4SS is a full-height air/water heat exchanger from the PWS 3000 Series: the highest-capacity model of the 7000-12000 BTU/H PWS 3000 range, sharing the 51.89 in housing of the PWS 3202 while delivering 12283 BTU/h. Panel builders and OEM designers use it to cool enclosures with chilled water/glycol, tower water or other circulated coolants where ambient conditions are hot, harsh or subject to frequent wash-down.

The PWS 3302 is rated at 12283 BTU/h (3600 W) at +95 F (+35 C) enclosure and +50 F (+10 C) water; it moves 315 CFM (535 m3/h) of enclosure air on 2 GPM (450 L/h) of coolant at rated capacity. This is the 230 V version, specified for 50/60 Hz supply; it consumes 59.0 W and draws 0.31 A running current, with a terminal block power connection. An integrated thermostat and solenoid valve with alarm contact provide automatic temperature control.

The exterior case of this variant is 304 stainless steel, and the part description rates it NEMA/Type 4/4X, which suits wash-down and corrosive locations. Inside, a rugged (10 bar) copper tube / aluminum fin heat exchanger connects through a 1/2 in barb.
