Hammond PWDP13227 Heath SB-200/SB-221 Main Power Transformer, 60 Hz

The PWDP13227 is the T-1 main power transformer for the Heath SB-200 and SB-221, in the 60 Hz only version. It is part of the PWDAHL series of Peter W Dahl Transformers for amateur radio products, and is intended for hams and technicians restoring or repairing an SB-200 or SB-221.

The primary is 120/240 VAC, 60 Hz, single phase. The secondaries, all rated CCS, are S1 at 800 VAC and 500 mA, S2 at 6.3 VCT and 8 A, and S3 at 120 VAC and 0.1 A.

The core is an EI-175 x 3" 29G M-6 lamination stack, listed as Style 2 on the transformer style sheet. Approximate weight is 19 lbs; shipping weight is 19 lbs (8.62 kg). The part is RoHS and REACH compliant.

With a 120/240 VAC primary, the PWDP13227 can be connected for either 120 V or 240 V service, provided the supply is 60 Hz. Its 800 VAC S1 winding is rated 500 mA CCS.
