Hammond PPFP190803BK1 3U Rack Panel, Three 3.15 in Fan Openings

The PPFP190803BK1 is a 3U rack mount fan panel with three openings sized to accept standard 3.15 in (80 mm) square fans. It is intended for IT, AV and telecom installers who need to add active ventilation to an open frame rack or an enclosed cabinet, and for OEM and facilities teams building custom fan or filter-fan panels to a specific airflow requirement.

The panel is made of 14 gauge mild steel and finished in a black powder coat that is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant, so it holds up in working rack environments while meeting environmental requirements. Because the fan openings are unpopulated, you choose the fans, and can add filter fan grills for dust control or wire the fans through a thermostat for temperature-controlled cooling.

Mounting dimensions are 19.00 in (483 mm) wide by 5.25 in (133 mm) high, occupying 3U of rack space, and the panel mounts directly to standard 19 in EIA-compliant rack rails. The drawing shows an overall height of 5.22 in (133 mm), four 0.25 x 0.375 in (6 mm x 13 mm) mounting slots on the 18.32 in (465 mm) hole centers, three 3.12 in (79 mm) fan openings and twelve 0.19 in (5 mm) fan screw holes. Shipping weight is 2 lbs (0.91 kg). Mounting hardware is not included.

PPFP190803BK1 can be configured for intake or exhaust airflow, and supports push-pull cooling strategies when paired with a compatible fan grill panel. It is TAA compliant, USMCA compliant, RoHS and REACH compliant, and manufactured in North America in an ISO 9001 certified facility.
