The PJU864CCTF is an 8 x 6 x 4 flange-mount Type 4X junction box with a clear polycarbonate cover and a stainless steel twist latch. As part of the PJU Series with continuous hinge and twist latches, it is designed for instrument enclosures, terminal wiring and control housings mounted on walls or structures in wet, hot or corrosive locations.
A compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester box, gray and UV-inhibited, carries the clear cover on a molded hinge with a stainless steel pin. The door is secured by a lockable stainless steel butterfly type twist latch located on center with a padlocking provision and seals against a captive oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket. The box is easily punched, cut or drilled.
Enclosure size is 8.05 in x 6.27 in x 4.13 in (204 x 159 x 105 mm), shipping weight 6 lbs (2.72 kg). Two polycarbonate flanges are glued to the box; the drawing gives a flange slot distance of 8.75 in (222.24 mm) minimum to 8.88 in (225.54 mm) maximum. Stainless steel flange screws thread into #10-32 brass inserts, and mounting hardware is included.
The optional 14R0705 inner panel is 6.75 in x 4.88 in (171 x 124 mm). PJU864CCTF series standards include UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, with a -40°C to 130°C operating range and REACH and RoHS compliance.
