The PJU864TF is a flange-mount 8 x 6 x 4 Type 4X junction box with a solid fiberglass polyester cover and stainless steel twist latch. Part of the PJU Series with continuous hinge and twist latches, it provides a compact, wall-mountable enclosure for instruments, terminal wiring and electric, hydraulic or pneumatic controls in wet, hot or corrosive environments.
The box and cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester, gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors, and are easily punched, cut or drilled. A molded hinge with a stainless steel pin carries the cover, which closes with a lockable stainless steel butterfly type twist latch on center that has a provision for padlocking. The seal is a captive, oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket.

Two polycarbonate flanges are glued to the box and fastened with stainless steel screws into #10-32 brass inserts, with mounting hardware included. The PJU864TF series is UL 508A and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, IEC 60529 IP66 compliant, rated -40°C to 130°C, and REACH and RoHS compliant.
