Hammond PJU864CCT 8x6x4 Clear Cover Twist Latch Type 4X Box with Feet

PJU864CCT is an 8 x 6 x 4 Type 4X junction box that combines a gray fiberglass polyester body with a clear polycarbonate cover and a stainless steel twist latch. It is part of the PJU Series with continuous hinge and twist latches, and it stands on four polycarbonate feet. Typical uses are instrument enclosures, small control housings and terminal wiring boxes where the contents should stay visible in wet or corrosive conditions.

The compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester box has enhanced UV inhibitors and can be punched, cut or drilled. The clear cover swings on a molded hinge with a stainless steel pin, is closed by a lockable stainless steel butterfly type twist latch located on center with a padlocking provision, and seals on a captive, oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket.

This model measures 8.05 in x 6.27 in x 4.13 in (204 x 159 x 105 mm), with a listed shipping weight of 6 lbs (2.72 kg). The optional 14R0705 inner panel measures 6.75 in x 4.88 in (171 x 124 mm) and mounts to #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws. The feet attach with stainless steel screws, and mounting hardware is included.

The PJU864CCT series is UL 508A and cUL listed Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and complies with IEC 60529 IP66. Its operating temperature range is -40°C to 130°C, and it is REACH and RoHS compliant.
