Hammond PJU201610F 20x16x10 Solid Cover Fiberglass Box, Flange Mount

PJU201610F is a 20 x 16 x 10 in Type 4X polyester junction box with a solid lift-off cover and two polycarbonate flanges for surface mounting. It is built for use as an instrument enclosure, an electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housing, an electrical junction box or a terminal wiring enclosure, providing insulation and protection in hose-down, very wet, hot or highly corrosive locations.

The box and matching cover are compression molded fiberglass reinforced polyester in gray, with enhanced UV inhibitors for outdoor weathering. Entries are easy to add because the material can be punched, cut or drilled. Four stainless steel captive cover screws in #10-32 brass inserts with retaining O-rings hold the cover against a captive, oil resistant closed cell neoprene gasket.

The enclosure measures 20.5 in H x 16.27 in W x 10.13 in D (521 x 413 x 257 mm) and ships at 18 lbs (8.16 kg). Four #10-32 brass inserts with plated carbon steel screws accept the optional P2068 inner panel, 18.44 x 14.44 in (468 x 367 mm), or a terminal kit assembly.

The two flanges are glued to the box and secured with stainless steel screws in brass inserts, and mounting hardware is included. PJU201610F is UL 508A and cUL (CSA 22.2 No. 94) Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13, and is rated IEC 60529 IP66. Operating temperature is -40°C to 130°C (-40°F to 266°F), impact index is 6.78 J (5 ft/lb), and it is REACH and RoHS compliant.
