Hammond PJU201610CCT 20x16x10 Clear Cover Type 4X Polycarbonate Box, Feet

The PJU201610CCT is a 20 x 16 x 10 Type 4X non-metallic junction box from the PJU Series with a clear polycarbonate cover and mounting feet. It is built for instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes and terminal wiring enclosures, and suits sites where equipment may be hosed down, is very wet, runs hot or sits in a highly corrosive environment.

Per the part drawing, this version is an injection molded polycarbonate box with an injection molded polycarbonate clear cover. The door rides on a 316 stainless steel hinge pin and closes with (2X) 316 stainless steel lockable twist latches that include a provision for padlocking, sealing against a captive oil resistant FIP polyurethane gasket. Wall thickness is .19 in (4.75 mm).

The enclosure measures 20.50 in (521 mm) high, 16.27 in (413 mm) wide and 10.13 in (257 mm) deep, with a shipping weight of 18 lbs (8.16 kg). Threaded brass inserts accept the optional P2068 inner panel, which measures 18.44 in (468 mm) by 14.44 in (367 mm); optional panels are offered in white powder coated steel, unfinished aluminum or fiberglass. It mounts on four polycarbonate feet: (4X) polycarbonate feet with (4X) #10-32 brass inserts and 316 stainless steel flange and feet screws. Mounting hardware is included.

The PJU Series is listed to UL 508A Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and cUL Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 per CSA 22.2 No. 94, and complies with NEMA Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. It is rated for operating temperatures from -40°C to 130°C (-40°F to 266°F) with an impact index of 6.78 J (5 ft/lb). The PJU201610CCT is RoHS and REACH compliant.
